More Than Food
"Bringing together real people for real talk about what’s hot, hip and happening around the world” describes More Than Food perfectly. Their unique and witty approach to food, travel and culture immediately caught me hook, line and sinker. While working with them, we discussed the need to streamline their visual identity and to keep it consistent on all of their social channels.
Since they are currently only staffed by WorkAway volunteers, the need for a cohesive style guide was evident. Playing off the “Eat. Drink. Explore.” tagline, I designed iconography to pair alongside their correlating article posts. I redesigned both their WorkAway welcome guide and 2018 media kit using the new brand guidelines. I also wrote their weekly social media content, mimicking their voice but adding my own flair as well. In the end, the online magazine has an even more polished identity.
